An Itty Bitty Story!

Can you believe I am on baby 6 and I have never had pictures of my belly...other than accidental ones! :)
Thanks to a great friend...who encouraged me to get some pictures!
I finally asked my sister, Shauna, to help me while we were at the beach in Florida!
It's not the easiest task...Between the 2 of us...we had 9 kiddos covering the beach!
Some how she remembered..and helped me get a few shots!

I am 5 weeks away from having another wee one in my home!

6 kids?
Who would have thought???

Mark and I both wanted kids...right away...we were in shock when I was unable to get pregnant!
It took over 4 years, to finally get the news that I was going to have a baby!
I will always remember the day....I was so excited!
I hurried over to the gym to break the news to Mark.
He was running on the treadmill, and was glad that his partner showed up...

With the BIGGEST smile EVER....I said,

"Mark, I'm pregnant!"

After hearing me wonder if I was pregnant every month for 4 years...and after hundreds of pregnancy test..he simple thought it was anther false alarm.

"Quit making excuses and get on the treadmill!"

You can only imagine the shock, when he realized that I was indeed carrying our first child!

I instantly got sick.....I knew women got sick during pregnancy and so I was determined to not complain and endure like the thousands before me!

I was throwing up 20-40 times a day...unable to eat or drink anything...even a little piece of ice would send me into unstoppable dry heaving!

Without much energy....I put myself in bed...where I stayed unable to eat or drink..until my oldest sister, mother of many, happened to stop by.
She knew something was seriously wrong, and got me immediately to the hospital...where I was admitted on severe dehydration!

After loosing 20+ pounds...they diagnosed me with hyperemosis!

Baby #2 and #3 all followed the same pattern!

Luckily #4 was just a normal case of morning sickness!

Which gave me the courage for #5...which ended up as the worse case of hyperemosis!

Here I am today with baby #6...and can you believe, I only had a mini segment of morning sickness...and then a perfect pregnancy from there!

They have No explanation for why ....but all I know is I am thankful for everyone one of my pregnancies...for everyone of my kiddos...for all the awesome medical care along the way...for all the amazing friends and neighbors who helped...and for the opportunity to have 6 Miracles in my home to LOVE!

I had lots of troubles for 5 years between my older two and my younger two. It's so hard to watch everyone around you have kids. And my mom only had me before she experienced lots of troubles. It sure makes you appreciate and love what you have, no matter what! Congrats!!
