The first snow of the season is always our favorite!
I just can't believe it didn't arrive until the middle of January...and that it was 55 degrees yesterday...and that it most likely will not last but a day or so! :(
I had NO idea that this is Brady's first snow...of memory!
He was in awe of the white fluff as it fell....he watched for hours in the window...before venturing out to explore all this frozen stuff!

His favorite part was the footprints he could make! I don't think there is one part of our yard that has not been walked in...leaving the prints of Brady!

So fun! I'm kinda hoping for a little snow this year.
Hooray! We got our first snow today, too. But it was SO COLD that we didn't even get to play in it.. hoping the sub-zero windchill disappears soon and we can get out and play in the white stuff! We did scoop a bowlful off the steps this morning before anyone had walked there- and Maggie ate it for breakfast :) Happy snow day!
It has been so mild. My kids are anxiously awaiting the arrival of snow, but I'm not sure when that will happen!
Yeah for snow. I love how your children take advantage of every opportunity for adventure! We are anxiously awaiting a good snow!
We just got our first day of snow yesterday - and it was even less than you got! Such a strange weather this winter!
Johnny got out there an built a snowman, though! I was amazed that he found enough snow, just like your kids!
Yay!!! Sow for play!! So happy your kiddos finally got some... Hope they get more. We have TONs right now and it is glorious!
We are supposed to get some this weekend. I can't wait!! I hope we get enough for a snowman. :-)
