Lessons from the Zoo!

While in Omaha, NE
We went to the zoo...if you find yourself in Nebraska...the zoo is AMAZING...and worth the time to go!!!
Here are a few lessons we learned from the zoo....

It's good for Mom to get down on the ground and play with her kids...time and time again!
They soon grow up!

It is worth the effort to impress our spouses and put them first!

It's good to be different!

Everyone needs time to themselves!

I know I already said it...but this zoo was incredible!

Speak Now!!!

I surrendered my spot to the "Speak Now" Taylor Swift concert! =(
Brooke and I had planned for a fun Daughter Mother Evening out!
We brought the whole family to Omaha...
Last minute, Brooke got thinking...maybe Dad will be better at getting me to see Taylor???
I couldn't disagree with her...he doesn't take NO for an answer!
So I let her and her dad go instead! =(

They had a great time!

How did we survive before....

COMPUTERS?????

I have NO idea!
I have felt like I am in the black hole!
First my Internet server was down...then when they finally got that back up and running...my laptops charger wasn't working!
My desk computer's wireless wasn't working...so I ran to Walmart to grab a new one!

I am finally on!
Now to get my new cord...and all my pictures...so I can get back to blogging life!
Hopefully just a couple more days!

Make Overs!!

Aunt Kristina's make overs are the BEST!
While Mark and I went on a date in Boston...the kids were getting BEAUTIFUL!!!

It's been a great few days here in Boston!
We have more to come...but my camera battery is gone...and I am sad to loose the memories...
It's hard to relax and not feel like I'm missing all these fun moments!

I'm going to do my best to just be camera free...and enjoy wet Boston to the fullest!

Rain Never Stops This Crew!

We happened to hit a week of RAIN!

We decided to embrace the time and have some wet fun....we went on a hunt for fun photo moments!

Ride into Downtown Boston!

The one downside to being a spontaneous traveling family...is if you hit the wrong week....you may not be able to find a room!
Graduation time is not a good time to drop into downtown Boston and expect to find a room!
We were really bummed to have to stay outside the city!

Dad surprised us with a LIMO!
This is the kids...and Aunt Kristina's first Limo ride!
They were soooo excited!
Where we live...Limo rides are rare...and special!

This may end up as the highlight of the trip!

Making Cards of Kindness!

On the drive to Boston the kids made LOTS and LOTS of cards!

In each one, they put a dollar!

They found awesome spots to tape their cards...in hope of cheering up someones day!

It cheers me up.....just watching them!

Road Trip Fun!

24hr. drive to Boston...and the Fun continues!
This time, our trip was super spontaneous..and so I did not have time to plan any road trip activities!

No problem!
The kids came up with their own!
Pinching wars!
These two went at it for hours...laughing the whole time!
I kept expecting them to cry...but they survived pinch after pinch!

This may look like a wrestling move...but these two had a massive pillow fight!

I just happened to have a 5 paper yoyos in my purse...and they were a HUGE hit!

Couldn't help but LAUGH at the saved gum...YUCK!

Long road trips like this are only survived with LOTS of LOVE and "QUICK" HUGS!

Remember the tip to having happy traveling children....is travel with them often!
