Going different directions!!

This weekend was the first time that Mark and I had to go in separate directions.
Mark took Brooke to her Basketball game, and I took Chelsea to her swim meet!

I am sure this will happen often, as all the kids start to get into sports!

It was hard on Chelsea, she is use to having her big sister their...she was "lonely" without her.
I also think it was good for her, to do her own thing, not always be in the shadow of Brooke!

Brooke took it hard, she cried and cried, because I missed her game.

It's going to take some getting use to!

We've had to do that many times and I don't like it. The games/events/meets will find us texting scores, pictures and play by plays if we've had to split up. I hope everyone did well, in spite of being separated!

Do you own a video camera? Maybe your hubby can video the game and when you all get back together you can see what you missed and be right there with Brooke watchin with you.
It's hard when kids are in different activities in different places.
Have a great day..ta ta for now from Iowa

Awwwwww, we are always going in different directions. It can be tough. We like our kids to stay active and sometimes that means three kids in three different places! Then we have to call in backup (aka Grandma).

Awww, that is hard having to choose which one to go to. WOW, you are super mom! Those pictures are great though, such talented kids!

It's always so hard not being able to do and see everything our kids do and want us to see. Tag teaming is the only way. At least Mark was able to be there for Brooke. Maybe have the girls think of a Top 5 Highlight of the event. Then when you guys are back at the house there can be a "replay" with the highlights for the parent that wasn't able to attend the event. Might be fun :-)
