Fitness Challenge!!!

3 weeks completed....3 weeks to go!
I got 25 points this week!

The whole reason to even do a Fitness Challenge is to give us mothers motivation to get in better shape, so that we have more energy for our fun loving always moving kids! =)
and to provide a healthier life style for ourselves and our kids!

Here are some of the things I have heard this week.....

"Mom, I really need a carrot!" (Luke)

"I found an article on how important water is to us....can I read it to the family?" (Brooke)

"I hope we have oatmeal for breakfast!" (Annika)

"No, thank you!" (Chelsea...in response to ice cream)

There has been many more as my kids try to become aware of what they put in their bodies...so that they can have strong muscles and bones!

This is what makes me feel successful!

Hope Brook didn't say no to Ice Cream Friday. :)

Tell Annika that my favorite cereal is oatmeal too. I like stone ground oatmeal with craisins and apples cooked with the oatmael. Top it with a banana. The craisins and apples are dried, and the cooking process plumps them up into soft and juicy cranberries and apples. Love you.

I got 28 this week. I'm feeling so much better. I wish Crumpet would take the hint and eat better - we're going through a rotten eating phase with him...
I learned 2 things this week:
1)Weekends are hectic here and I can't count on making up points then. It just doesn't happen.
2)I have a serious binging problem! I gained weight even though I'm exercising daily and not eating much sugar. I'm eating too much healthy food!! I think I'm going to start deducting a point from my day if I binge at all. I'll just look at it the same as eating sugar and maybe that will keep me in control...

I am at 28 for the week! YEAH!! (little late in joining the party). I also started Yoga and TRX classes and a, so thankful to have yoga back in my life.

Even got Ella to eat a few veggies this past week. Sigh...such a challenge. She used to me so great about it. Hope it is just a phase! Take care, Kerri
