Halloween Lunch and Stuff!

Yesterday I made the kids a Halloween Lunch!
The oranges are just permanent marker.
I used nuttela on the sandwich and the spider!
(The edible plate design was a BIG hit for the kiddos!)

I served it on Pumpkin Place mats ...that they could turn into Jack -O- Lanterns!

Spider Cupcakes...
I won these adorable cupcake holders at my sisters Halloween spooky gift exchange...it made the spiders a breeze...plus I just added regular googly eyes!

When my nieces left...I made them a few Halloween gift...and doubled it for my kids!
Tic Tac Toe!

I love active cards...these are so cute...I have been using them with my preschool kids!

Who wouldn't love a book that ends with a personalized picture!

My kids are loving them...and maybe yours will too! =0

Thanks to my Inspirations!

Ghostly Good Byes!

Our Cousins have been here for over 2 weeks...and it seems like they just got here yesterday!
We are going to miss them!
We thought that we better have one more Halloween Themed night before they left!

The kids all made Halloween Pizza's
Adding their own style!

Then we played a game...
the name I do not know...
But, my sister in law, told me about it...and it was a BIG HIT!
Let's call it....CAT'S EYE!
So I need to share this with you, in case you have a Halloween Party....and are still looking for last minute activities!

You have a bag of clothes..
Shirt, pants, gloves, hat...
When someone rolls a Cat's Eye....
Then they have to dress in the clothes..

And then use the spoon and fork to get a piece of chocolate off of the LARGE chocolate bar!
NO FINGERS ALLOWED!
They have to completely eat the first square before attempting to get a second one!

While they are doing this the rest of the group continues to try and roll a cat's eye...
When the next person rolls a cat's eye...the turn is over and the new person puts on the clothes and tries to get the chocolate!

The DAD's ran from room to room, handing out candy and treats for the trick or treaters!

The TWO dad's did a great job of covering the 6 doors...
The kid's favorite part was to see the transformation of the Dad's from door to door!
Mark covered the upstairs and Craig the downstairs.
The kids alternated...up, down, up, down...
Trust me...the kids were RUNNING...at high speed...so the DAD'S had to be Speedy!

I love all the fantastic mom's out their who spend their time making free printable...to help out other mommies!
These bats were a free printable...I will give the link at the bottom of the post!
Too Cute and a perfect addition to a great evening!

We made these adorable whipped cream ghosts..
The kids made the pre made cookie mix cookies...putting them in mini cupcake pans, then they just took a ready made whip cream can and made the ghosts...
adding a large chocolate chip for the mouth, and two mini chocolate chips for the eyes!

They had a little too much fun with the whip cream!

We will Miss our Cousins!!!

Thanks to my Inspirations!!!

It's a Monster Mash!

Every Halloween I have a party for my kids.
My mom always threw one for us...and we would never know what the next year theme was...sometimes they were Halloween themes....and sometimes not!
It was one of my favorite traditions!
I started 3 years ago....

PUMPKIN PATCH
PIRATES
and now...
MONSTERS!

"Build a Monster!"
Started the night before....since we needed to make our shirts...
We bought white t shirts and Tye dyed them for everyone!

We had a Monster Lunch!

Monster Hands!

Everyone got Monster hair....even the Wee Ones!

Monster Hats!

Monster teeth!

Monster Feet!

It's starting to look a lot like MONSTERS!

Monster cupcakes...

My own Monster...

Who brought treats for the whole gang!

Thanks to my Inspirations:
Little Page Turners!
Katherine Marie!

To make the Monster cupcakes:
Make 24 regular cupcakes...and 24 mini!
Attatch the minis to the regular with frosting...
Take a sandwhich bad and cut the very tip, then with the frosting in the baggy...make noodle looking fur!
The Eye: dum dum lollipops...and gummy rings!

We played the Monster Mash music...
Freeze Dance!
Musical Monster Feet!
and just all out Monster Boogy!

My Monster: Is just a box!
We plan to use him all week, as we continue with some fun Monster Excitement!

Scooby Dooby Doorific!

Luke's Scooby Doo Birthday Party...
Was a BLAST!!!
There is my crew...all dressed up to be the Mystery Team...
Even though "She Shaggy", decided last minute she needed to be a princess!

From there...we had lots of Velma's, Daphne's, and Princesses!

We even had a surprise guest...
My neighbor dressed up... the kids LOVED it!!
Thanks Mariah!!!

The entire time the kids were trying to figure out who was trying to destroy the party!
Things kept coming up missing...like the hot dog buns!
(Of course we had to have a Blue's Clue!)

The Bones were stolen also...
had hid in the backyard.
The kids had to go find them!

Even Scooby Doo was kidnapped!

He claimed that the villain was slimy!

Here are our Four villains!

All arrested and demasked....the kids did a great job of "splitting" and finding them!

HAPPY 5th BIRTHDAY LUKE!!

Then we had to finish the night with a new version of our favorite family game...
Lions and Tigers...The Mummy's

The kids wrapped up the Dad's like mummy's...and then the Mummies, chased them!

Everyone took their turn being wrapped!

I'm ready to do it AGAIN!

The cake was just made with a loaf pan and I used oreos for the wheels.

The Mystery Machine was a trampoline box spray painted blue, and then I just added the other details with paint.

We did not end up needing very many other activities...finding the missing items and people, was enough...and then the villain capture!

We did make "peace, or love" necklaces with fruit loops and pipe cleaners.
(pipe cleaners eliminate the need for "Mom" to be sitting right there...and then I was able to set up the next table!)

Other ideas...
Scooby Says....like Simon Says
Scooby May I....like Mother May
Scooby Dooby Doo , Scooby Dooby doo....Red Rover Red Rover
basically any of the oldies...turned Scooby!
