This year's gingerbread houses stood! Last year we just ended up with plates full of graham crackers and candy! I used my Uncle Ivon's tip, and made all the houses ahead of time!
Your kids look like they had so much fun! We are doing this with some friends tomorrow, so timely post. I was debating making the houses ahead of time...and now I KNOW that I have to. Thanks!
We decided this year after making our houses that we needed to put them together ahead of time also! Wish I had figured that out a few years ago! :)
I like the cardboard pieces you have them on - did you cover them with scrapbook paper or wrapping paper? I always just cover with tin foil - another great idea!

I have yet to try to make graham cracker gingerbread houses but I love the idea. It looks like everyone had a lot of fun!
