No Regrets!

I try to live life with NO regrets!
But...
One of my greatest regrets is not going to see my sister and her family more....
while they were close!

We have always lived relatively close...
So when she moved 5 hours away...
It was far enough that I only saw her two or three times a year!

I figured they would always be near!

Now they moved to Florida...

It was an 20 hour drive for me...
and a 10 hour drive for her!
So we can meet up for the day!

I miss her, I miss her kids, my kids miss her, my kids miss her kids!
I am soooooo glad we got to spend 1 day together!

Tip of the Day:
See your family often...they may not always be near! =(

I'm glad you got to see her and the kids even if it was just for a bit. Bummer about the distance!!

Visits may be few, but I'm sure you make the most of it when you get together!

I agree!!! Cherish them when they are close... But know that your hearts will always be connected; miles can't take your bond-of-love away! We are a military family and So i understand your MISSING them!!!

This one struck a cord! My sister and her three kids live 6 hours away and we see them as often as we can but it never feels like enough. We always hate the drive and feel more drained when we get home then we did before we left. But this reminded me just how important it is to keep our kids close, to keep our relationships strong and to visit as often as we can!
Thanks for the great reminder!!

I know what you mean. My sister is a 9 hour drive away and I usually only see her two or three times a year. We flew to visit her earlier this month and my kids said it was better than going to Disney!

I FEEL YOUR SADDNESS. THAT'S HOW I FEEL ABOUT KIMMIE. SO SAD FOR ME THAT SHE HAS GONE...NOW I NEVER GET TO SEE YOU, HER, OR SHAUNA. I LOVE HAVING FAMILY CLOSE. THOSE PICTURES ON THE BRIDGE REMIND ME OF SOME THAT TODD, JULIE, TINA, AND I TOOK A COULPLE MONTHS AGO OF THE 4 AMIGOS ON THE BSU BRIDGE. I'M SO GLAD WE'RE GOING TO START FAMILY REUNIONS. I NEED MY FAMILY!
