We have had so much fun pulling this night together!
One of our really close friends are moving!
Back when it was freezing we decided to do a Family Drive In Movies together!
Well, both of our schedules have been busy...and so it has not happened until now!
Which I have to say, has been perfect!
The kids and I have had so much fun slowly preparing for this fun night!
First we collected BIG boxes!
So they could each have a car to sit in!
Then the kids put together the items they needed for a concession stand!
This was even a project that they all worked on together!
That was as much fun as the actual movie...as they each had to do the activity in order to receive the treat or drink!

What a fun a CREATIVE family activity. Love it!
that is such a cute idea :)
You guys have the most fun! This looks awesome!
How fun is that? You guys ought to send that idea into Family Fun magazine. There's that My Great Idea section from readers in every issue. The concession stand is great too. If only the prices were like that in real life! I'd gladly do five math problems for some Skittles. :) We may have to do this. Thanks for sharing!
P.S. Sorry to hear that your friend is moving. I hope they aren't going too far. :)
What a great idea! What a fun way to enjoy your movie!
looks absolutely brill! i am def gonna try this with my littlies, they will love it :)
So stinkin' fun!!
Looks like fun. What was the movie? I am looking forward to meeting Chelsea in Utah. Tell her that we are walking the 5K and she is not allowed to beat me. :)
We did that when my kids were younger ~ they loved it!! I love the concession stand idea and the "prices!"
This is an absolutely fabulous idea!! LOVE it! I am going to 'borrow' this idea for after we move - we'll have a ton of boxes, and we'll either tie it in with my son's summer birthday, or as a way to 'housewarm' for the kids and get to know other kids in the neighbourhood - maybe we'll invite the kids into our yard for an outside movie feature! :) Thanks so much for sharing this! I'm super excited now! :)
That is one of our families favorite activities too! How fun! But where was your and Mark's car? :)
I love this!!! BRILLIANT!!!! :-)
That has got to be one of the cutest and smartest ideas I've seen in a long time! I'll have to talk to Daddy about getting some "cars" together so we can give it a try! :)
HA! LOVE it!! That is so fun! I actually got a fridge box and did that as a date when I was younger, it was so fun!
WOW! That looks so cool and fun!!
