ROAD TRIP- Heading to Utah !

We drove to Utah for Thanksgiving and for Debbie's wedding!
Round trip it is almost 40 hours of car fun!
My kids amaze me...they love to drive and they are wonderful!
Infact, they don't sleep until about 10pm..
Yup, awake and ready for me to entertain the whole time!
(except Annika...she takes a couple naps)
It seems to me that when I was young I liked to sleep, and then the trip went by faster.
Not my kids...they don't want to miss one minute.
Needless to say, Mark prefers to drive the whole time and let me tend to the needs of 5 car cramped up kiddos!

We love family road trips!
So I have gone on enough to know the more prepared you are the better.
I came PREPARED!

Here a a few of the things we did ....
Tin foil molding
Each kid got a sqare of tin foil to make anything they could create.

WHAT A BLAST!!

Brooke shows off Annika's tin foil balls of all sizes.

Luke made a man with a hat, and he shows how the hat comes off and on!

Brooke made a bowl!

Then, I was the judge and graded each item and gave out appropriate awards...
everyone wins!

Pipe Cleaner designing!

Luke- Bert and Ernie- (he had some help)

Brooke made a baby mobile for the car seat

Chelsea waves her American flag!

And then we had a bubble blowing contest!
The whole car was laughing!

Even dad the driver was involved!

Chelsea's got bigger and bigger...this is probably her 20th bubble!

Bubble Gum Blowing Brooke!

We stopped in Wyoming and watched them herd sheep with horses and dogs.
This is for sure the most exciting thing going on in Wyoming!

I'm an Indian fan!

Chelsea had her 2nd grade Thanksgiving play...she was an Indian.
(Brooke was an Indian also in 2nd grade)

They decorated their own hats and Chelsea's is very detailed...she loves to draw!

Singing!

Eating at the feast...a paper feast...so I am not sure if she is suppose to be enjoying what she "ate" or not...
I can always expect good facial expressions from Chelsea!

She was also "Calendar Girl" and got to decorate the balloon of the day.
I must say that is quite the cute turkey!
And even cuter Indian!

LOVE YOU CHELSEA!

I wish I was a bird!

Meet Tynon

Meet Annika

These two cousins are both 2 years old, only 11 days apart. They have the best time together! Sometimes I wish I was a bird and could fly over and listen to them as they talk and play together.
What are they talking about?

Early Thanksgiving Dinner

My sister Debbie is getting married two days after Thanksgiving in Utah...
so we had Thanksgiving early!

Here is the finished product...the girls have worked for weeks on pulling this table together!

They did a fantastic job!
"CLAP, CLAP, CLAP"

It is always fun to plan a dinner and have family to share it with.
Thanks Shauna and Cliff for driving all the way to see us and have Thanksgiving with us!

I am so Thankful for my dear sweet husband!

Cousins Rock!

We just ate a huge Thanksgiving dinner...
time to burn some of that food off!
Beautiful weather = a great day of fun!

Everyone came outside to enjoy the gorgeous fall Sunday!

Luke's got moves...the kids can dance!

They played a soccer game... or two!

Annika tended to Brady's!

Rode bikes

Wrestled..or fought for the soccer ball!

Dad and Brooke are going down the hill on high tides!

Tynon rode the two wheel scooter down the hill and wiped out.
His face has a huge road burn!
"OUCH!"

We went on a walk and Luke made sure all his girls were taken care of!
He kept coming back for Annika ....

and Madyson!

The hill

The top!

Big Day! The kids were all sleeping instantly!

Cops and Robbers!

Every night before bed, (If dad is home), then the kids want him to play "Lions and Tigers" with them .
This is just him chasing them around the couch!
Well, now they have changed it to "Cops and Robbers", so now he chases them and when he catches them they have to go to jail!
Here is Annika in jail with her hands up!
She absolutely loves it!

Our cousins are here for our Thanksgiving dinner and so here we have Jayden 13, Chelsea 6, and Cliff-Uncle, hiding under the table!

I love how much fun they all have while doing this.
I think Dad might be having the most fun~!
